Langengrad in Kiel

I have eaten there twice so far. Got a great menu the first time, meat, vegetables, all perfectly cooked. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case last time and the staff also seemed a bit distant. We will still come back when the situation allows, just to enjoy the beautiful view. All the best for you.

Really good place, with a great view of the harbor. There is a cozy roof terrace. We file Asia Bowl and corn chicken as well as dessert and wine. The food was really good and the meat in both dishes absolutely perfect. The staff was really sweet and nice. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my steak very much. Cooked to Perfection. Beer was cold and also went down well. I ordered a glass of cabernet sauvignon that complimented my meal perfectly. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was quite busy so we waited a little while but it was worth it. The view from the deck and the big windows are great.

Dishes very tasty. Staff tried hard but unfortunately a bit understaffed. No questions ... You had to go to the bar yourself for a drink request ... So 4 stars

The quality of the food was very good, you can tell from the prices. But that's okay, you know beforehand. The colleague who brought us to the table had a slightly arrogant streak, but the service at the table was all the friendlier.

It's amazing how much the experience is divided into the extremes between very bad and very good. We found it very good, especially the food. And of course the location is great with the view over the harbor,

Very rude and unprofessional staff. We were registered as a jga group, unfortunately we were not welcomed and served very warmly. We were neither loud nor drunk, only the bride-to-be had been disguised by us according to the occasion, but that was enough not to want to serve us. We wanted to pay individually, this was not welcome and was immediately criticized, with the words "has nothing to do with you, is not an accusation" in a very rude tone. Apparently we delayed the waitress for 15 minutes during which she could not serve more important guests. The guests are not to blame for bad organization! Absolutely not recommended, hopefully the staff rethink their behavior towards their guests. The food wasn't worth the price either.

Today we went to the Längengrad and the staff as well as the kitchen more than deserved the 5 stars! The staff was competent and attentive. I am more than happy with the food. You feel very comfortable and welcome, we will definitely be back. + Point: Corona measures adhered to and great solutions found??

I've never experienced anything like it and I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone! Our meal came after about 1.15 hours (after asking several times) and our drinks were completely forgotten! Then the service was extremely unfriendly! Much too expensive for what you get. Just a bottomless cheek !! Never again!!!!

So I can only give this restaurant a thumbs down. The price-performance ratio is simply not justified for me. The food tastes like it has been warmed up and the staff is more than unprofessional! I observe how the staff touch / adjust the food with their hands and generally not really comply with the hygiene measures. It's a shame, especially in these times you should be able to trust that you will be served under the best possible conditions in order to stay healthy.

I can hardly understand the reviews. The food is delivered and warmed up by wholesalers, and that's exactly how it tastes. Except for the beautiful view, you can't say anything positive about this restaurant. The waitresses were also rude and so inappropriately dressed that it destroyed the whole atmosphere. On the whole not to be recommended.

We were eating at longitude and were initially amazed that it was fairly empty in the restaurant. However, this did not prevent the service staff from giving us the most inconvenient seat. Unfortunately, we could see less of the beautiful view. A menu was not brought to us, we could only find a reference to the online menu from the display at the seat. The food was acceptable, but unfortunately not appropriate for the claim of the restaurant itself. "More appearance than reality." When you go out, you will no longer be said goodbye ... of course, since you had already paid ... a return is probably not wanted either ... Overall, disappointing. You can eat better in Kiel and are treated more kindly in other restaurants too. Personnel need training.

Long waiting times, unfriendly staff, mix up with the order. Way too expensive for this kind of service. The awesome view cannot compensate for the rest.

I honestly can hardly understand the reviews. So as a cook and from my experience, I absolutely cannot agree to that. I paid for very little, very much. And the "little" was not exactly good. The meat was OK, the vegetables so overcooked that you couldn't see what it was supposed to be and the potato crust was extremely hard. Unfortunately it was not as expected. The service was very nice, but there are two stars.

Nice delicious restaurant with a view over the port of Kiel. The staff is attentive. It is justified in terms of price. Vegetarians as well as fish and meat lovers will find something on the menu. Only the vegetables could make a little less oil.

The view of this restaurant is probably unbeatable. Have only had a drink here so far. Drink prices are ok. There is a nice outdoor area, if it is not too windy.

Awesome view of the rooftop restaurant on to the harbour. The view is only topped off by the quality of the food and staff. The staff is very attentive and professional, accommodating all the requests with a smile. The food was beautifully cooked, very tasty and well presented. The portions are very well sized. The menu is varied and can cater for all tastes and preferences. Highly recommended. The prices are a bit high but the food and service are well worth it.

What a fabulous find. It was recommended by a colleague and we were initially sceptical when we saw the location. Don't be out off by where it is located The food and staff were first class.
